Goals & Objectives
Effective School Choice is an instrument of school improvement, stimulating diversity, equity, and high achievement for all students. Stakeholders responsible for implementing school choice need access to the latest research, state board rues, statutory requirements and “promising practices”. Insight and perceptive is honed through collegial networking and robust associations and collaborations with foundations, universities, federal, state and local support.
- To promote public awareness of school choice
- To promote awareness of the benefits of diversity in public school choice options
- To assist with the implementation of state and federal legislative school choice requirements
- To assist members with evaluating and/or assessing the impact of school choice options on student achievement
- To promote networking, professional development opportunities and resources to district directors or parental involvement, educators, state, regional and local parental support groups of school choice
- To disseminate information about “promising practices” and funding opportunities for public school choice options
