Seeking to embrace diversity and multiculturalism, the students of the Global Studies Academy at Richmond Heights Middle School will investigate the global interconnectedness that shapes and determines our jobs, consumer choices and our quality of life. This new magnet academy will explore the interaction of our cultures with the cultures of the world, and consider how these differences impact all of our decisions, both locally and internationally. Technology and multimedia will be used to further enhance the students’ ability to apply their knowledge by participating in meaningful projects with peers in their community, and around the world.
