Inlet Grove Community High School First in State to Have Three NCAC Certifications

Charter school Inlet Grove Community High School in Riviera Beach was recently certified in three career areas by the National Career Academy Coalition. The school’s medical, drafting, and commercial arts academies had their programs reviewed to evaluate how they rate on the National Standards of Practice for career academies. A team from the NCAC and the Association of Career and Technical Education assessed the three academies using the career academy national standards of practice.
                                                
We applaud Inlet Grove Community High School’s ambition and drive to have all three academies certified within the same year—a first in Florida’s education history. We are pleased to announce that all three academies were designated as “CERTIFIED”.

Inlet Grove Community High School is a comprehensive college and career preparation charter school with a student body of more than 600. The school’s broad list of academy choices also includes automotive service technology, Web design, culinary arts and restaurant management, and journalism. The school plans to have three more academies NCAC certified by next year.
