Receives “Model” Academy Award

Atlantic Community High School’s Criminal Justice Academy received the “Model” Academy Award at the National Career Academy Coalition (NCAC) Conference. Dr. Kathy Weigel, Principal of Atlantic High School, was recognized and accepted this prestigious award.
Also receiving an award was Amy Walker, a 2003 graduate of Palm Beach Garden’s Tourism, Hospitality and Resort Management Academy, received the “Exemplary” Academy Alumini Award. Amy said upon receiving the award, “The hospitality Career Academy fueled my love of the hotel industry...Without the career academy I would not be on the career path I am on today.” Amy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walker, Dr. Jonathan Prince, Ava Pence and Sheridan Renner were also in attendance.
