Students had been working very hard to prepare for the World Language Fair. The World Language Fair was sponsored by the Foreign Language Teachers' association of Palm Beach County. Twenty-four schools participated in this event, and The Charter School of Boynton Beach was the sole charter school competing in the language fair. The prizes ranged from superior, excellent, good and honorable mentioned. All of the nine Charter School of Boynton Beach students won superior prizes and the School won two excellent prizes. Next year, we anticipate a higher participation of students. |
On March 29, 2008, nine students from the Charter School of Boynton Beach went to the World Language Fair held at Atlantic Community High School in Palm Beach County. Arriving at 8:00 in the morning with Ms. Mechiat, French teacher, and Ms. Trillo, Spanish teacher, the students participated in Spanish and French declamation, Spanish and French vocabulary and Spanish oral response.
