On April 7-9, 2009, the Florida Public School Choice Consortium will again host the “Career Academies on the Hill” conference in Tallahassee, FL. It will again be at Doubletree Hotel due to the easy access to the capital building and reassurances about room access. This year we will hold networking activities for legislators and educators, time and tips for visiting your legislators and information on legislative issues that may affect your programs. In addition, we will address the issues of Career Academy program review processes, research on effectiveness and promising practices, as well as showcase successful programs and share resources and materials.
