Outstanding Achievements at Pahokee Middle-High School

Angel HernandezHere at Pahokee Middle/High School we are very fortunate to have the IB Program. This is an excellent program that provides a framework of academic challenges that encourage students to embrace and understand the connections between the classrooms and the real world. This is our second class of IB graduates, and out of the top ten students, eight students are IB students.

Our Valedictorian, Angel Hernandez, has been approved with at least $50,000.00 in scholarships. He will be attending the University of Florida and plans to be an Architect.

Our Salutatorian is Carla Martinez, and she will be attending Palm Beach Community College and plans to transfer to University of Florida to become a Dentist.

Our other graduates include:

  • Eathon Withfield will be attending Florida Altantic University and wants to study Psychology.
  • Precious Howze was accepted at University of Central Florida and wants to become a Pediatrician.
  • Ashley Hernandez was accepted at the University of Florida want to become a Physical Therapist.
  • Michael Barnes will attend the University of Florida and wants to study Law.
  • Nylene Clarke was accepted at the University of Miami and wants to study Psychology and English.
  • Miriam Gonzalez will attend the Universidad Tecnologica de Leon in Mexico, and she wants to major in Communications.
  • Jessica Baltazar will be attending the University of South Florida for Architectural Engineer, and
  • Oliver Resendiz will be going to Lincoln College of Technology at Florida Atlantic University for Business.
