Regional Meetings

The Florida Public School Choice Consortium (FPSCC) would like to extend an invitation for you to attend one of their Regional Meetings this year.

FPSCC has been instrumental in providing best practices and sharing their mission and vision of “advocating equal access to high quality public school choice”.

The FPSCC is a membership organization made up of school choice advocates throughout the State of Florida, including but not limited to, Magnet Schools, Choice Schools, Charter Schools, School Districts, NCLB Choice, Virtual Schools and Academies.

Their goals are to:

  • Promote awareness of public school choice
  • Promote awareness of the benefits of diversity in public school choice options
  • Assist member implementation of state and federal legislative school choice requirements
  • Assist members with evaluation and/or assessment of the impact of public school choice on student achievement
  • Provide members access to “best practices” and funding opportunities for public school choice options
  • Provide networking and professional development opportunities.

Some key topics to be discussed at these Regional Meetings include:

  • Dr. Rodriguez Awards and Scholarship Opportunities (Nova Southeastern University Masters and Doctoral Program)
  • Voluntary Public School Choice Grant Overview, District Input, and Funding
  • Critical Conversation – Choice Enrollment after the Supreme Court Ruling
